Postdoctoral position in MEDICAL IMAGE COMPUTING at Queen’s University
The Percutaneous Surgery Lab (Perk Lab) is looking
for postdoctoral researcher to participate in development of novel image analysis
and modeling techniques image-guided prostate cancer interventions, primarily
with using MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy guidance.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background
in medical image computing with MATLAB and/or C++. Experience with ITK, VTK and
open source medical image processing and analysis tools will be most useful.
The postdoctoral researcher will have excellent
collaborative opportunities with a diverse group of multidisciplinary
researchers from medical robotics, medical imaging, image processing,
computational mechanics, image modeling, and analysis; as well as with a
diverse of pool of clinical collaborators. Primary research interactions will
take place with the Johns Hopkins Robotics Program (robotics.jhu.edu) and

months, starting immediately and it will be renewable pending on performance.
